Unexpected Trip to L&D

I had a doctor appointment today. I felt fine gave them my urine sample got on the scale and I have gained 4 pounds in the past week!! WTH the nurse comes in and checks my blood pressure and it is "high" (122/90) they recheck it a couple of times and it is staying the same. Everything else is fine baby sounds great and my cervix is still closed. Dr. Rodier filled out my hospital papers and then sent me to L&D to be monitored. If my blood pressure didn't go down I was having baby tonight. Me and Derrick were kind of freaking because we are not ready. We don't know where are kids are staying I haven't packed a bag his clothes aren't washed....We headed over to the hospital and long story short my blood pressure stayed up for a good while and I began to think ok so I might really have him tonight. Then it went down and stayed down and all my blood work and urine came back good. I was great to get to listen to Xavier's heartbeat for a solid 2 hours but I was ready to go. I am so happy that I am healthy and so is he. My last appointment is Monday I hope we don't have a repeat of today. I am suppose to be on bed rest until I deliver but I cannot afford to be out of work. I only get 4 weeks after I have him and I want to use it all for when he is here. I sit down at work so hopefully today was just a fluke and it won't happen anymore,
