Ahh Curse You Target and All Your Cuteness!!!

I am throwing my sister in law a baby shower and needed some hot pink tissue paper. After looking everywhere else I finally went to Target. I knew they would have it but I wanted to avoid going in there because I always buy way more than anticipated. Well I found the hot pink tissue paper along with an entire new bathroom set. It was all on clearance and dirt cheap but that's not the point! I was suppose to go get $2 tissue paper and left with way more. But I got inspired and I really love my new bathroom. It needed it too. I have had the other bathroom set for years and it doesn't flow with my room, but now problem solved!

The shower curtain that started it all...I also bought a trash can but you can't see it

Keelan being his usual nosey self. The towels cup soap and lotion dispenser are all new.
I bought the wall quote on amazon a while ago but couldn't figure out where to put it
It reads "Life takes you to unexpected places, Love brings you home"

The pictures on the wall are skyline of New York, Dallas and Nashville.
It ties in with the wall quote Derrick is from New York I am from Dallas and
Nashville is where we met live and of course raise our family.
I should have gotten a close up of the glass holders!
I saw this idea on Pinterest. I just bought 2 candle stick holder and 2 glasses of different
sizes from the Dollar Tree and super glued them together.
They are super cute and classy looking.

4 Months Old!

That's right my little puddin pop is 4 months old as of yesterday! He got his first taste of baby cereal yesterday too, although he could really figure out what to do with it. We will keep working on it of course. This has been a really big month for him. He started really cooing alot, he is trying to hold his bottle, he started rolling over, his hair started falling out, he reaches for things, holds things well, he found his tootsies, started putting everything in his mouth, and I can see his bottom 2 teeth are coming in. He is such an amazing baby, and we are so blessed to have him in our life. He went to his 4 month check up today. He weighs 14 lbs. 14 oz and is 26 inches long. I thought that was big. But the doctor said "Nope. He's in the 10th percentile." I was surprised! He got 3 shots and 1 vaccine by mouth. He did as good as can be expected. He cried but not for too long and then went to sleep. I just pray he doesn't get a fever from it. He actually laughed today! He usually just kinda grunts. He still loves baths, and hates tummy time. He doesn't sleep through the night. I am loving watching him grow up and trying to remember everything I can!

Bats About Baseball!

First things first! The boys had a scrimmage on Friday night. I don't know if they won or not since I didn't keep score. After the game was over the coach asked to speak to me. He said that Malique was doing excellent and he had a proposition for us. There is another team in the 7-8 age group that doesn't have enough players and he asked if Malique would want to help them out and play up with them!!! I'm so proud of my little all star :) So we are going to be very busy but it will be worth it.

Opening day was Saturday as was pictures. Everyone had such a good time. They won their game 13-10 and Malique got the game ball. Then Malique's other team was suppose to play but the other team didn't know they had a game or something so they won that game by forfiet, and the kids played the parents and adults. I watched but Derrick played. After all that we let the boys go to the pitching booth to see how fast they could throw. Malique was the fastest in his age group up until that point, and Derrick  was the fastest in the adults at that time. They are suppose to contact the winners and give them a gift certificate. We haven't heard anything yet though. But either way it was a great way to end a great day. (Other than my precious baby getting sunburn on his little face)

So Much!

I have not had the time to blog at all with everything going on. Really just between work life and planning Keelan's party it has been impossible and I am making myself do it now so that I can remember as much as possible. I don't even remember the last thing I blogged about...probably should have looked at that first.

Keelan's Party was great but did not go how I wanted it to at all. I got ZERO pictures, only about 10 of the 24 kids showed up, the kids mostly played outside instead of dancing inside, the food didn't turn out right, the cake didn't turn out right, and I didn't get to finish the red carpet backdrop. But my baby had a blast and that is all the really mattered at the end of the day. Here are a few that other people took and sent to me...

Janaysia Gavin Keelan and Malique.
I so wish Xavier was in this picture.
I don't know the next time all of out babies
will be in the same place at the same time again.

My little Rockstar! Doesn't he look great?!

they wouldn't be still

Malique has been on spring break this week and I have loved not having to drive him over to school. He got great grades on his report card and made the honor roll! So proud of him he is doing so great and loves school at least for now. He has been doing really great in baseball. His coach says that he will be playing "pitcher" this year. I am not too thrilled with that, but what are you gonna do. I have a feeling that the team will not be the greatest. Hardly any of the kids pay attention. But we have been through this before. Malique's first year they lost every game. Hopefully this year will be better. The pictures I'll have to upload pictures of baseball later.

Keelan is getting better with every practice. We got him to stop throwing the ball between his legs, but now he dives onto the ball every time it comes close to him. He also had his first breakdown at the last practice because they weren't throwing him the ball....He hits pretty good so at least I know he won't strike out every time. They have a scrimmage today. I will try to take plenty of pictures, but it's hard to do with Xavier.

Xavier is 16 weeks old now. Really I think it is time to stop with the weeks haha. But I still take a picture of him every week. He is almost 4 months old and it is almost time to go get shots again :( He is getting better and better at holding his bottle. I don't want to do a big update of his milestone just yet. I want to save that for the 4 Month blog.  Here is a quick pick of him holding his bottle. The blanket is just lifting it up a little more for him.
