Lazy Days and Xavier's Room

We are usually so busy with school, football, work, and life in general we don't get lazy days too often. Malique had his 1st round of playoffs on Saturday. They won 13-0 so we are on to the next round against the only team that beat them pretty bad. (The other 2 losses were very close games. One was after triple overtime and the other was a loss by 1 point) For the boy's sake I want them to win, but in all honesty I wouldn't be sad if they lost on Saturday and the season was over. It has been riddled with way too much drama, especially for a pee-wee football team, and long nights. He played last year and won the championship, and I didn't want it to end. But this year I am 8 months pregnant, tired, and not enthused at all.

Oh but Sunday finally came!!!! Usually we go to church every Sunday, but I was just not feeling up to it. We had a lazy day full of football. TITANS WON!!! I'll take a win even if we did play the sucky Colts. The kids were even ok with having a lazy day as well as you can tell by the picture below.... I'm not really sure why they all piled onto that one little couch, but I guess they were comfy. That little lady there is my niece Victoria.



We have almost everything we need for Xavier, just a few small things left to get and the diaper bag. His nursery is almost finished. I think that we are going to paint the moon and stars on the navy blue wall. Other than that it is finished. I love it so much. It was the only nursery I have ever been able to do. With all of my other kids we lived with someone when they were born. That also means that this will be the first time I have ever brought a baby home to my own home. So all those extra helping hands will not be there this time. We looked and looked for a theme. I didn't want a bunch of blue and I didn't want polka dots. I am not a fan of Winnie the Pooh or any of that stuff. Then I found the Owls...OH MY I'm in love!!!!

This shows his closet and dresser I was trying to get the little guys on top of the closet, so that's why the weird angle...

His changing table that I have just realized needs to be turned around...

His crib...this is the wall we will paint the moon and stars on.

We didn't get a bedding set because of the risk of SIDS you can't

really use anything but the sheet anyway. So he has a owl sheet and blanket.

All the other little things are wall decals. 

 OH and we are 32 weeks as of yesterday!!! Officially 8 months...only 45 days left to go......
